Account & Project Manager

The role: Account and Project Manager at a brand-focussed challenger creative design agency based in the South East of England.

In other words...ensuring our customers and team are happy, whilst taking responsibility for the delivery of projects.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with our customers, interpreting their needs into a brief for our team and providing proposals and quotes. Building long-lasting meaningful relationships with our customers is really important - over 60% of our work comes from referral.

With projects approved you’ll utilise our studio management software (Streamtime) to guide all our projects to a successful outcome. As a project manager, you’ll be leading the implementation and delivery of projects, on time and to budget. This includes managing timelines, schedules, information, priorities, communications and client expectations, supporting our team and unblocking issues.

Daily you’ll manage our team check-in’s and ensure everyone has the resources and support they need. Occasionally you’ll need to flag a key project or deadline (but our team is self-driven so you won’t need to plan everyone’s day). Partnership is really important so you’ll be comfortable commissioning work with our developers, strategists, copywriters, photographers and printers.

Projects are wonderfully varied; from website design to branding; they all share a common approach - delivering distinct, relevant and emotive visual communications. It would be beneficial to know the creative design industry and understand what a project needs to be successful. Our projects aren’t too complex, but we always have many on the go at once - so identifying what the true priorities are is important. We know this takes time so those early weeks you’ll be shadowing and supporting Matt closely to ensure a smooth transition.

Why Now?

The aim of this role is to unlock the growth potential of me&you by handing over the day to day from Matt to you. Matt will be refocusing his time on long term strategy, marketing and sales.

The People

me&you is a small, creative design agency in Kent and Surrey. We work exclusively with brands who are committed to contributing towards building a better world - making life better, fairer, safer and greener.

Our purpose is to build brands with positive impact. Together.

We aim to become the No.1 creative agency in the UK for building brands who do good for people and planet. The world doesn’t need more pointless noise. It needs more partnerships between people who are energised by the belief that they can and will make a difference.

We use our strategic, creative and digital skills to work in partnership with brands to help them build stronger connections with their audiences, deliver more impact and do more work that matters.

We strongly believe our services can be delivered whilst maintaining a true healthy life/work balance, we’ve shown this by offering flexible working years before it was fashionable and rolling out a comprehensive health insurance plan.

Tech

Working knowledge of Streamtime would be ideal. We also heavily use Google WorkSpace and Slab to communicate and document our processes. You’ll be working from home most of the time and will be provided with all the kit you need. If you understand the Wordpress website platform this would be an advantage.

You

We are picturing a person who is both an excellent listener and planner. Who communicates clearly whilst also loving a process and clear plan. Perhaps you’ve worked for a large agency for a few years and are keen to have more influence? As long as you’re willing to take responsibility for ensuring our team and customers are happy, have the drive to contribute to the business and will grasp opportunities to develop your skills - we’d love you to get in touch.
