About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven Creative Lead to join our team 5 days a week on maternity cover contract, starting on 1st December 2024 and lasting for 11 months. This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of our creative output, lead impactful campaigns, and contribute to a diverse range of projects for clients who are making a difference.

While this is a maternity cover position, we're a growing agency, and we may be in a position to extend this role beyond the initial contract period.

What You'll Be Doing

As Creative Lead, you'll be responsible for the creative vision and execution of our projects. This includes:

  • Leading creative campaigns: Developing and delivering engaging campaigns across all channels (digital, print, social media, etc.) from concept to completion.
  • Branding: Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Project management: Managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Content creation: Generating innovative ideas for captivating content that resonates with target audiences and achieves marketing objectives.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring projects to life.
  • Artworking and production: Producing high-quality artwork and designs for various applications (brochures, website graphics, social media assets, etc.).
  • Copywriting: Crafting compelling and effective copy for marketing materials.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience: A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience as a Creative Lead or in a similar role, showcasing successful campaigns and branding projects.
  • Creative vision: A strong understanding of design principles, typography, and visual communication.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Project management expertise: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Copywriting skills: The ability to write engaging and effective copy for different audiences and channels.
  • Hands-on approach: Willingness to be involved in both the initial creative concept and the artworking/production stages. We are a small team a frequently you'll need to be happy to support on the production side of things.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or "for good" sectors.
  • Experience with WordPress, social media scheduling tools, and Google Analytics.
  • Animation, video editing, UX/UI design skills.

Benefits

  • Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum.
  • Holiday: 25 days plus public holidays (pro rata).

  • Private Health Insurance: After a successful six-month probation.

Location: Ideally, you'll be willing to work from our Redhill office during the first month for a smooth handover and training. Afterwards, primarily remote with occasional meetings in Redhill, Surrey.

  2. Invite 10-15 people for informal chat with Matt
  3. Filter down to 3-4 people who we then ask to do a few simple tasks (estimate 4 hours work). These tasks are as much to give you a taster of the kind of work as it is for us to assess you. We appreciate the time taken and offer a £60 voucher as way of saying thank you.
  4. These 3-4 people are then invited to meet the wider team and discuss the role and your responses to the tasks.
