We Fix

Our brief for this project was to create a name and brand identity for a service provided by the council, the working title being ‘Home Services’.


The aim of the rebrand by me&you was to establish the new company as entirely independent from the council. We began the project with a desk-based research phase to gain insight into the services, audience and competitors. From our findings, we developed naming options and a visual approach which appealed to the demographic in a competitive market.

Following on from our desk-based research we created a few logo and identity concepts from what we understood worked successfully from key competitors website and branding. We found that a friendly, yet assertive tone of voice with the use of phrases such as "We can", "We will" and "We guarantee" worked well along with a bold colour palette. For the website, clear navigation with simple signposting to the services was a common theme, a colour palette used to define each of the services, or illustrations were often used to identify the services the company offers.

Based on our desk-based research and a team discussion's we concluded that the following names were appropriate for the company and the services that they provide.

The final selected names are short, sharp and deliver immediate impact on what the company will offer. In addition, their meaning connects to the company and it’s services, whilst delivering the right tone of voice and will be memorable to your audience.
