The historic Chilworth Manor Vineyard asked me&you to design a website to promote and sell their brand new exclusive wine.
Set in the magnificent Surrey Hills, Chilworth Manor Vineyard is steeped in fascinating history. With the current owners creating their own brand of Rosé and Sparkling Wines, me&you were commissioned to create a new vineyard website that reflects the story and prestige of this business.
With user experience (UX) at the forefront of our minds, we set out to deliver a vineyard website that told a compelling story but most importantly provided a seamless online shopping experience for customers to easily purchase wine products.
After close discussions with our clients at the English vineyard, a sitemap and wireframes were produced before development commenced. Shopify was decided as the best platform to craft the site on, as the system handles shopping carts and product collections very well and most importantly, can be hooked up to a mobile Point Of Sale version. This was particularly important as the client wished to sell products directly from the vineyard whilst keeping control of stock levels and Shopify handles this extremely well. A modular approach was constructed within the back end of the Shopify system and this allowed full control of content updates for Chilworth Manor Vineyard moving forward.

The site is designed to promote wine tours and tastings, as well as sell wine online to Surrey residents and restaurants. It tells the story of how the family introduced a vineyard to the estate, and by managing it sustainably hope to preserve the beauty of the area and pass something meaningful on to future generations.
