A compelling new website design for an international drinks competition

A complete website overhaul for a high-end drinks brand

IWSC commissioned me&you to design and develop a major new website.


me&you produced the new website for the International Wine & Spirit Competition, IWSC.

The client’s top priority for the new website was for entrants to be easily able to enter the competition.

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to simple navigation. We researched IWSC’s main target audience to understand the key search areas, and the me&you digital designers identified the best layout for its users.

Understanding the audience

We started by interrogating the existing website data, identifying key content areas and speaking to all audience types to understand their typical journeys. Research complete, we produced a site flow, which we tested alongside the client to ensure that it meets its goals – in this case, ‘easy competition entry’. Once the discovery phase was complete, we produced wireframes with accompanying annotations, colour palettes and an overall structure for content.
