Characterful visual identity for an annual wine fair

Specialist event branding and digital marketing

Specialist event management company, Spear Communication, asked me&you to create a brand identity for their annual wine tasting, supported by a strong online presence and email marketing campaign.

Our brief was to create a visual identity for California Wines’ 2017 UK wine fair that would “exude character”. What better way of merging the very different characters of England and the Golden State  than by staging an English garden party with some of that famous Californian hospitality? The event slogan ‘Dream Big’ shaped the creative – a warm and inviting image of a beautiful Californian vineyard coupled with a bold typeface.

Pitch-perfect branding was neatly tied together with expert digital marketing to drive registrations for the tasting, resulting in a well-attended, well-received, memorable event.

An attractive, on-brand and easy to use website was supported by an intelligent email campaign to really drive registrations.

The main event

Never overlook the importance of the little things. Subtle details like ‘on brand’ signage can really make an event stand out in people’s memories, making it even easier to attract registrations for the next occasion.
